I would like to report in the aftermath of the fires that recently did so much damage in Yarloop and surrounding areas that the club house is intact and has been converted to a community centre for all remaining locals & volunteers, firefighters etc. local tradesmen have helped us get power and water working at the club. We have become a meeting place for meals, communications etc. and have established a charging station for phones available 24hours. Our new Bowling Carpet has received burns but it is insured. We are cleaning it up and it still looks playable in parts so that is good news. We thank all the Clubs who have offered to help us.
Best Regards Ron Sackville President.

The Yarloop Bowling and Recreation Club is a FAMILY FRIENDLY COMMUNITY CLUB and is open Wednesday to Sunday from 4pm until late. We have a Good Sports Level 2 Accreditation www.goodsports.com.au by continuing to promote responsible drinking and a positive club culture.
The Club is also open at other times for special events i.e. bowls pennants and birthday parties etc. Our dress code is neat and tidy at all times so NO singlets at any time.
Jag The Joker.
Jag The Joker is back Saturday nights and our latest winner was Liz Simpson who Jagged The Joker on June 4th.
The town of Yarloop.
Yarloop is a nice little stop over with a nearby skate board park and oval. You might like to visit the Yarloop Workshops and Steam Museum and follow the Yarloop Heritage Trail. For more Attractions in the South West click here.
At the adjacent recreation ground caravans and caravan clubs can stay for $5.20 per person per night to a maximum of three nights. The Yarloop Bowling Club has generously lodged $500 with the Shire of Harvey to cover the bond that has to be paid by each Caravan Club staying at the Yarloop recreation grounds. It would be appreciated if Caravan Club patrons supported the Yarloop Bowling Club.
If you have been on the road for a while you might like a delicious home cooked meal and something to drink at a very reasonable price and perhaps join us for a game of bowls.
You don't have to be to be a member and children are very welcome. Ring Leanne on 0427 402 086 for more information.
